They don't make them like they used to...

The next time you have to consider maintenance protocols for your lighting design, or the next time an electrician has to move a 20 foot ladder for the 50th time in a day, consider this wonderful bit of old time technology and say it like you mean it: “They really don’t make them like they used to”. 

This photo is of a streetlight maintenance vehicle owned by the Philadelphia Electric Company in 1910. Just one more application specific tool who’s time has come and gone. Eat your heart out manlifts everywhere!
